About January 20, 2009

I am a writer, aspiring chef, foodie, nature enthusiast, Arkansas Razorback fan and pianist. My husband and I live in Savannah, Ga. and have two cats, Sam and Frodo. We love spending time in historic downtown Savannah and on the beach at Tybee Island. I graduated with a BA in journalism and gender studies at the University of Arkansas. I am a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, and in 2008, I won an SPJ Green Eyeshade award for breaking business news. My work has appeared in several New York Times Regional Newspaper Group newspapers, the Savannah Morning News, Savannah Magazine, Suite 101, the New York Post, and various other media outlets.
